High School – Leah Burleson (there was also a beautiful presentation of Leah growing up and her family);
College – Brook Burris – University of South Carolina;
Trevor Davis – Wingate University;
Eli Hatley – Pfeiffer University;
Weston Houck – Redlands Community College (OK)

Sunday, June 12th Joys:
Cindy Dry – Our granddaughter, Katlyn graduated from High School Saturday night. We are so proud of her.
Ron Dry – Cindy met with her doctor and she is walking and getting more flexibility in that ankle. We are thankful for where she is at!
Robin Hinson – Someone celebrated an anniversary! 60 years Larry & Judy Lambert were married, Congratulations!
Pastor Ron Hartman: – Cody Bowers graduated from High School and celebrated Thursday night!
Jackie is doing good. she had a chaffer driven limo (me) and she made it to work every day this week!
Ada Morgan – Mom’s (and Dad’s) Anniversary is this Tuesday!
Pastor Ron Hartman – Jackie and I will be celebrating our 42nd Anniversary when we arrive at Western North Carolina Conference!

The AA group has suspended the Monday through Saturday at 12:00 pm – High Noon AA Meetings until they decide to begin again.

*VBS 2022 – Jerusalem Marketplace!
          Join us for VBS 2022 in Jerusalem!

          VBS dates: June 26th-30th;Times: Dinner at 5:15 & VBS from 6pm-8pm.
          Children will have a week of fun and worship where they will learn about life when Jesus walked on Earth, play all sorts of games, and build crafts to take home to remember the lessons they learned forever.

Smell the fresh, warm bread; weave a basket of reeds; make clay pots… Can you hear the music echoing through the Marketplace? Engage all senses as you transport your church to a different time and a fresh experience—and walk with Jesus today!

  •  We still need more volunteers!
  • Volunteers need to go through Safe Sanctuary Training to work with the children. 
  • We need 4 men to help with skits (15 minutes on one night each).
  • We also need leaders to help move the children through the Jerusalem Marketplace.
  • We are in need of some props like Gazebo tents, baskets and pottery like what you might have seen in those days (We will return it to you after VBS If you want us to).

Please HELP if you can!
Fellowship Hall will be open for you to drop off your items on Monday, June 13th from 6 to 8 pm.  Or contact Makayla, Ally or Trevor.
