Pine Grove Happenings 8/15/2022

Sunday, August 14th Joys & Concerns:
Keith Burleson – Hinson Endowment Fund Scholarship recipient was Leah Burleson. She was recognized and received a $1000.00 Scholarship.  Congratulations Leah!
Michele Baucom – I was able to speak to my son Bailey this morning and he is hoping to be home during the holidays.
Michael – I’m just glad to be here in the house of the Lord and I’m glad my friend Jamika is with us!
Cindy Dry – I’m excited that Buddy and Monte, our friends and wonderful people, are here!  I’m also excited that our oldest daughter is here and she has two of her soon to be four children with her.

*Chicken,Cross, & Bibles Mission Event! on Saturday, August 20!
Put Saturday  August 20th on your calendar as the Kickoff for our CCB (Chicken, Crosses and Bibles) ministry. We need folks to help prepare a chicken dinner to be given out. We need people to come out and hand out crosses, Bibles and God’s love. 
Begin praying now for this new ministry. Begin to plan on helping and begin to think of new places we can take this dynamic ministry. God is at work! Come and Join in. Sam Lambert and Robin Hinson are on point for this experience so see the for questions.
Plan to meet at Pine Grove Aug. 20 at 8 am to prepare food for chicken, cross, and Bibles (CCB) give away with Gods Love.  We plan to be at the corner of Efird and Love Streets from 11:30- 2:30 with the Pine Grove trailer and volunteers to witness and give out (CCB) blessings.

**Back to School Bash on August 27
Join us for BACK TO SCHOOL BASH on Saturday, August 27th from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at Pine Grove United Methodist Church!  All are welcome!
Bring the kids to a fun end of summer event! There will be an inflatable water slide, dunk tank, and hot dog supper!
Ages 5- 13

We will no longer be supporting Zoom for our Sunday services, however you can still come in-person or you can view the service on Facebook most Sundays. (We are having some issues since lightning hit some of our equipment).
