*Every Thursday in September is Pine Grove Soul Food Night!
Please join us in a mission of helping to feed the community at Soul Food/Grace Place on Church Street in Albemarle every Thursday night in September. We still have two more dates left to serve, 9/22 and 9/29.
If you or your group would like to help or take care of one of these nights please contact Ron Hartman or Robin Hinson.
To accomplish this mission, we will need many volunteers! Pray about it and see if this is something God is calling you to do.
**UMM Community Breakfast on Saturday, September 24th!
On Saturday, September 24th the Pine Grove United Methodist Men will be hosting a Community Breakfast from 7:30 am to 10:00 am in Fellowship Hall. Volunteers are needed from 6:00 am to 11:00 am to help with cooking, serving and clean-up. Please contact Roddy Tomberlin, Sam Lambert, or Pastor Ron if you are able to help.
***Will’s Place Bluegrass Festival Fundraiser September 23rd to 25th

This is a “Recovery Road Bluegrass Festival” held annually at 28338 Hatley Farm Rd. Albemarle, NC 28001.
First, the purpose is to raise awareness around addiction and recovery. September is Recovery Month, so to conclude the month we host this event that includes testimony speakers telling their stories of addiction and recovery, as well as offer information about Will’s Place and our mission and work in the community.
Second, this is a fundraiser. Will’s Place depends on support from the community (including churches) to continue our work in Stanly County and surrounding areas.

****David Hinson Memorial Endowment Fundraiser, October 1st!
Come join us for some delicious Barbeque and Ribs cooked up and served to help the church and community with various causes.
The men will meet on Thursday night at 6:00 pm to prep the meat; other men and women are needed on Friday night and Saturday morning to cook the meat, and prep other items like cup the slaw, bake the beans, and set up the Fellowship Hall.
Many Volunteers will be needed to accomplish this event and make it a big success.
Don’t forget to tell all your friends and neighbors! More detailed information coming soon.

We will no longer be supporting Zoom for our Sunday services, however you can still come in-person. We hope to resume our worship service on Facebook soon.(We are having some issues since lightning hit some of our equipment).
